Why did you become a teacher?

My inspiration comes from a very special teacher who is no longer with us. Dr. Cross has left this world a better place - I hope to do the same someday! He always said, "you're one of the lucky ones, you get to be a teacher!"

Interests & Hobbies

Running, riding my beach cruiser, sailing, kayaking, days at the beach, working out, snowboarding, reading, vacationing in Hawaii, parisailing, eating sushi and other exotic foods, shopping, spending time with good friends, road trips, learning more everyday.

Most memorable moment

Getting married this past July 2010; Joining 2 million people in Washington, D.C. to watch President Obama take the oath of office at his Inauguration. I can always say, "I was there!"
