I am married and have 3 girls, ages 9, 7, and 4.

Why did you become a teacher?

I decided to be a teacher after running a tutoring session and grading papers for Aqueous Geochemistry in college. My two years as a volunteer Math / Science in the Peace Corps in Cameroon solidified my desire to work as a teacher in the U.S.

Years teaching?

11 years (2 years in the Peace Corps in Cameroon, 7 years in Sacramento,CA, 1 year in Whittier,CA, and 2 year here at Edison). In addition to Geoscience and Chemisty, I also am credentialed to teach Mathematics.
